Hi,

looking at OnePass we can comfortably do a client-based browse and list all versions of files within a given time range. I was wondering if it is possible to include file versions into a (one) Synthetic Full job. I haven’t seen an option, but deleted files are included.

So assuming one Synth Full a month (and subsequent aux-to-tape) - this would allow for viewing and restoring versions within one month from one job ID, even if incremental jobs on disk have long aged out.

Can we do that?

You sure can!

You can configure this on the subclient properties via the retention tab.
