Hello @Xb-Wolf

With hardware based compression, the compression of data occurs after we send it to the tape library\drive. Since the hardware is doing the compression we cannot report the compressed size because its happening after we write the data. We are only able to report on the uncompressed size when hardware compression is being used.

Thank you,

Collin

Hello @Xb-Wolf

Thank you for your patience. The tape library GUI should tell you the size of data on the tape.

Thank you,
Collin

Native backup have full guaranteed .

No Guaranteed, If we take backup with compression (hardware/ software) not sure that how much data compressed.

It just selling strategic policy.
