Transaction log backup can run earlier based on the threshold limits link is missing

The information that I believe it was pointing to would be related to the functionality of automatic log backup schedules.

In essence, when enabling the automatic disk utilization rules for log backup, a space threshold is set (for example 80%).

The database system is then polled at a fixed interval in the background and if the used space in the log file crosses that threshold it is detected and a log backup for that database will be triggered.

The warning is to let you know that log backup can run earlier than the defined interval (in the screenshot 4 hours) due to the threshold rule.

This is to ensure that a database doesn’t fill its log file in the interim time between log backups which can lead to increase disk usage or data corruption.

If the space threshold is never triggered, then expect backup to run at the interval set in the “Runs every” field.

Following on from my previous reply, I have determined that the issue here seems to be an additional slash added into the link’s URL text.
