Hello,

We have a small problem with the Unusual File Activity.
When an alert is displayed on our Exchange servers we can see that many files have been modified. However, we cannot see here which files have been modified or deleted. We had an Unusual File Activity alarm from one of the CommServe servers in the past and here you could see a graph and the list of affected files. So what is the reason that we can't see this information on the Exchange servers? Does the agent need to be extended with a module or something like that ?

Regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas

The Unusual file activity report for file-related anomalies is a preview of file-related activities gathered from all Windows clients that have 11.23 or a more recent feature release. You can use this report to track large file anomalies for all Windows clients in the Commvault environment. For example, file activity such as deleting a large number of files or creating a large number of files might be flagged as anomalous.

which version you are running on CS and on Client machine?

Hello @Manzar Ali

the CS is running on 11.28 and the Client is running on version 11.20.
So all we have to do to fix this issue is to update the agent on the client ?

Regards

Thomas

We updated the Clients and the problem is solved.

Thanks für the information
