Hi,
i have updated my commcell from 11.20.17 to hotfix pack 36.
When i look to the clients i see:
Product Version 11.20.17 and Status Up to Date.
Why? Is it not necessary to update the clients?

Regards
Dennis

Hi Dennis

Thank you for the question.

The test with client versions is against both the Commserve level and the Software Cache.

Please check the software cache is up to date with the latest Feature Release software and Maintenance Release packages for those clients OS.

It may be Commserve (Win64) packages are up to date in the software cache, but these if these clients are running a different OS that does not have the same level packages in the software cache, they are being considered up to date when compared to the software cache level.

If this isn’t the case and software cache is actually up to date, please try a Check Readiness on one client just a test to see if client update status gets refreshed on the Commserve and let me know.

Thanks,

Stuart
