I’m currently testing the automatic VM Validation Feature and so far it looks good.

The only thing I’m wondering is if there’s an option to send a mail/report with the results of the validation.

Since we could use this to automate VM Backup validations and as some “evidence” for auditing purposes, this would be incredibly helpful.

In the Job Details in the Command Center it shows the different phases and whether or not it was successful, but I don’t want to have to check manually.

Is that possible?

Hi @ChrisK ,

You can add an Alert:

Hello @ChrisK

Good Day!

You may try below steps and see if that helps.

1. Log in to the Command Center and hit Dashboard
2. Clicked on the Overview Dashboard drop-down menu and changed that to Virtualization Dashboard
3. Clicked on Validation Failed
4. Check the Backup Validated VMs on the dashboard. Hit More actions and schedule that. Technically it is not an additional report that can be imported. It is a built-in dashboard list that can be scheduled for customer convenience.

Thank you @Tanuj Balani the Dashboard looks promising, I’ll play around with that a little.
