Hi folks,

Could anyone tell me if, in order to backing up VMWare virtual machines, it exists any size/file count limit (or best practice) attending to complete virtual machine, its disk/s or volume/s? We’re currently on v. 11.24.69.

Regards!

Hi @Mat3u , welcome to our community!

The only limit is one presented by the VDDK transport (VMware).

There are limits but nothing that Commvault is specifically locked into; it all depend on their VMware version, transport mode, content...etc. which would come from VMWare themselves.

Let me know if that answers your question!
