Hey,
I need to re install software(in this case mysql agent) on one of my client computers.
Repair isn’t helping in this case so I wanted to completely remove and reinstall the mysql agent.

What happens to all of my previous backups when I uninstall the software? Will it be kept and be able to restore after I reinstall the software?

Thanks

You should be able to uninstall and reinstall the software on the client without impact to your backup data as long as you do not remove delete the client or client data from the CommServe console.

You can uninstall and reinstall client software, Uninstall client deconfigures client but data is not deleted. Reinstall will reconfigure client, provide same client name and hostname during the reinstall.
