Can someone help me with this error "Error threshold rule at Commcell level marked the job as partial success based on 100 failed files count and 50 percentage  failed files criteria" . Why it occurs and how we can fix this error.

Thanks.

Hi @Manisha

It looks like there might be a Job Error Threshold rule that has been enabled on the Commcell.

Pasted below is a screenshot to help you navigate to the panel where this rule has been set\enabled.

You can try disabling the rule to see if it helps.

Here’s a BOL link for further information, please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks

If it is any impacts for the backup after disable this rule?

Shouldn’t be.  It won’t change the backup itself, only how it is marked.

As per the docs:

Use this dialog box to create and enable error decision and threshold rules for an agent to control the status of backup jobs that occur at the CommCell and client computer level.

Somewhat late to this thread, but here it goes 😁

It is interesting this happens for one of our NAS shares, but not all. And it only happens on incremental backups, not on full backups.

I have disabled the threshold temporarily, will take a look tomorrow to see what the backup job status show.

Thanks for the responses above!
