Hi Community,

I’m trying to restore a server to new hardware using 1-touch restore but I've hit an issue. The back up job runs and stops at 90% asking for Mass Storage Drivers. When i look in the log, the below drivers are requested:

2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::SearchForMSDDrivers(9013) - [ ] Matching driver either not found or an error was encountered. Driver will need to be provided: name [megasas35.sys], service name [megasas35]
2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::SearchForDriverInCache(2510) - [ ] Checking target device: Type [MSD], driver [iaStorE.sys], service [iaStorE]
2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::CheckIfDriversArePresentInCache(2378) - [ ] Could not find a matching driver at any of the readily available location(s)
2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::SearchForMSDDrivers(9013) - [ ] Matching driver either not found or an error was encountered. Driver will need to be provided: name [iaStorE.sys], service name [iaStorE]
2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::SearchForDriverInCache(2510) - [ ] Checking target device: Type [MSD], driver [iaStorB.sys], service [iaStorB]
2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::CheckIfDriversArePresentInCache(2378) - [ ] Could not find a matching driver at any of the readily available location(s)
2756  f94   06/13 13:24:53 ### CRegistryMerge::SearchForMSDDrivers(9013) - [ ] Matching driver either not found or an error was encountered. Driver will need to be provided: name [iaStorB.sys], service name [iaStorB]

I’ve attempted to add megasas35.sys, iaStorE.sys and iaStorB.sys but the Add Drivers window will not take them The MASS storage driver entered is not valid. Enter the path with a valid driver.

These drivers are taken from the Dell R650 Life Cycle Controller, i have even downloaded them from the Dell website.

What am i doing wrong?

Kind Regards

James.

Good afternoon James.   Are the drivers local or on a UNC path?  If on a UNC, can you test with the drivers on a local disk and update with the results?
