Hello Community,
Lets discus about 2nd (auxiliary) copy in a Cloud Library.
In case that need to have a 2nd (auxiliary) copy of on-prem Disk Library to a Cloud Provider (Azure), we have 2 options:
- Deploy a new MA to Azure, with its own DDB for these aux copies operations.
- Just configure the blob storage (also with new DDB) to an existing on-prem MA and start aux copies (without any additional MA deployment in Azure).
Please for your feedback about these 2 approaches.
With option 2, seems that you are going to save some cost from Azure MA VM, but what about optimization, performance and resource utilization?
Please for your thoughts!
Best regards,
Nikos
