As per my understanding you will not be able to restore the data from tapes which was backed up from a different software.

(Also catalog jobs on Stand-Alone libraries from foreign media is not supported. The Foreign Media pool is the logical repository for media that are not used by the MediaAgents in this CommCell. This could be media from another CommCell or backup software.)
