Hi all,

We have a project to apply CIS Benchmark Level 1 settings to our Windows servers, and that includes our CV environment.

I’m looking for feedback on the process. Good, bad, ugly, etc.

Thanks

G

Hi @GordA,

CIS Benchmark Level 1 has been tested, and the corresponding hardening scripts are available on the Commvault Store.

Kindly review the details below and let us know if you require specific information or clarification regarding any particular change

Hi, thanks for the reply.

It looks like the scripts are assuming/requiring you are running your Commserve on a Rocky 8 server

  • Rocky Linux 8.x operating system must be installed on the CommServe server where you want to run the CIS Gap Assessment.

Any options for those running all Windows VMs for Commserve, Index, VSA, etc, with HSX appliances?

Thanks

G

Hi @GordA ,

The script is tested on both windows and Linux.
