Dear Team,

We are planning to relocate our DR backup environment to another location.

Currently, our DR machine is a virtual machine with CommServ live sync enabled and running every 15 minutes. We have a 6-node cluster Hyper Scale 1.5 dedicated to backup purposes in our DR workload. Additionally, auxiliary copies are running daily from the data center to the DR site.

Could you please assist us with the prerequisites and potential impact of this activity

Regards,

ManiD

HI @ManiD ,

It really depends on your current configuration and the configuration of where you are moving the servers to.

Are you physically (or virtually) moving the servers? Deploying new servers to take over?/ Is network communication allow between the current and new locations? Any changes on that?

As a rule of thumb, if the network communication is still there and there are no changes to routing or the way servers can communicate to each others, you should be fine.

But it really depends on the scope, depth and complexity of your current deployment and the changes you are about to face.
