MSSQL Instance Clone

Hello All,

My customer would like to know if there is a way to take a backup from the “Instant Clone” feature offered by Commvault . backup of a SQL clone ?

The instant clone is created from a backup, so what is the use-case to take a backup of the cloned copy?

As noted above instance clone is to create a copy of the DB from a snapshot. I assume you mean a backup from a snapshot? That is a backup copy.
