Hi community,

I want to get more information about the “Cache directory” file server tab in mediaagent properties.

Where is it used for?

tried help

search in https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/expert/mediaagent_online_help.html

found nothing

can you help?

Thanks in advance

Joerg

The docs incorrectly call it the “NFS Server” tab, which must have been an old name.  But this is the docs for the config you’re seeing.  There’s a default location (jobResults/3dfs), and you would use this tab if you wanted to change it to a different path.

Configure the 3DFS Cache Path

Thanks,
Scott

Sorry I read the suggested article but I am not able to find the bridge to my question. Where is the connection between "object storage" and "cache direktory" and where is this connection described?

Excelent, this answers my question.

One more: Do you trigger the doku team to correct the related pages?
