My schedule policies are automatically created by my Plans. 😎

Thanks,
Scott

If I don’t use Plans...my schedules are:

<CC_T_BT_W>

  • CC = Concurrency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • T = Execution Time
  • BT = Backup type (Full, Incr, Synt, Diff)
  • W = workload that will be protected

For example:

Daily_09:00PM_Incr_Oracle-level-1

Weekly_10:00PM_Full_Documentum

I hope this will be useful.

Juan

If not using Plans then I try use the time as an ordering list.

So it would look like this:

17:00 - VM backup

18:00 - DB Backup

I have multiple schedules on 2 customers, so this makes it easier to track. When I disable a schedule, I prefix it with ZZZ so that it moves to the bottom of the list.

I do the same with disabled Storage Policies and Clients and Subclients.
