Hello Team,

Due to the fact that the Commcell Console can no longer be used in FR 11.34 during a new installation (https://kb.commvault.com/article/82051), I am trying to get used to the Command Center.

In Partner Support I often get the question: "Why are my tapes not getting free?" The best tool in this case would be the "Data Retention Forecast and Compliance Report".

Where can I find a comparable tool in the Command Center?

I would have expected a new report with 11.34. I have not found a report on this topic in the Store either.

View the jobs for a Copy and add the Retention Reason column.

Understood. I will do some tests. I currently miss the media and “the depending job” but there may be other hidden columns.

I did some tests.

The description is so compact that it is difficult to understand in relation to my problem.

The task: Why are my tapes not being recycled using the example of tape L00262L8 could not be answered sufficiently based on the short statement.

I only refer to the "Data retention forecast and Com..." Report

Commcell Console no problem: We see two jobs blocking the tape due to basic cycles.

I couldn't figure out how to get to the right copy via the right PLAN. I was able to guess. (The plan was called Tape, what luck)

I could not find out which of the jobs are assigned to the specified tape or vice versa.

I could only find a description of the topic in BOL, which provides the use of the Commcell Console. Why can't I find anything adequate for CommandCenter if we can no longer use CommcellConsole for new installations.

What have I overlooked
