Yes, direct upgrade is supported from 11.24 to 11.32.   

As far as what you are seeing with the version a screenshot might help explain what you mean.

Depending on whether the CS has currently access to the internet (and thus our servers) or not, it may not show the last version available.

You may also manually download the installation binaries and either run the upgrade manually or copy them to the cache and run it from the Commcell Console.

Thank you for hint, firewall was blocking communication to download server, that was fixed.
But now it propose to upgrade to 11.28.111 not to 11.32, if i choose 11.32 manually only 11.32.6 is available.

Still same situation, latest maintenance release is available only for 11.28 , for 11.32 only 11.32.6.
Could it be related to my current 11.24 maintenance release version (it is not the latest)? Are there any compatibility checks performed?

There are not any known issues I am aware of.

I would suggest to manually download the latest FR32 binary install files from support.commvault.com = https://support.commvault.com/ESD?fv=11.0&esdID=1402

And then either copy them to cache or proceed with a manual upgrade of the CS.

Alternatively, you may download FR32.6, upgrade to it, and then download the latest MR to software cache and run a second update on the environment.
