current environment is

> physical server with local mount path ,

> os windows 2012 r2 ,

> commserv version 11.24.

we are implementing hyperscale  x new version

Version Hyperscale ISO 3.2312
CommServe server minimum version 11.32.35 (or later)
CommServe Server: System Requirements Windows 2016 above

we need to migrate the commserv to new virtual environment , but to copy the local mount path we dont have space in the virtual environment

inplace upgrade of exsisting physcial machine OS  is challenging

any other options ??

No the disk library will stay in the local disk, pointing the new Media Agent installed in the second instance to the local path.

you share the mount path with the new Media Agent pointing to the local path on the Windows 2012 server, removing later the ‘old’ Media Agent from the disk library configuration.
