I’m trying to get a list of clients which would be a problem when I update to 11.44 from 11.36 and there are multiple clients running 11.24 and older versions.

This document explains what the errors do when I run the test upgrade from the java console but there are no steps documented to explain how to do this.

How do I get the list of clients which would be an issue when I do the update?

Hi @Steve_

As of now, there is no standalone pre-upgrade check report, it’s currently a built-in report that runs at the beginning of the CommServe upgrade process, if any problems detected, the upgrade would pause, report the issues and their mitigation steps per the document you shared, at this point, you can just stop (cancel) the upgrade and start the services without any impact (except the service stop/start).

We have CMR 574128 (part of larger project 5339) to get this capability in the future, you can check with your account team to add your account to this project request to increase visibility.

The current workaround is to create a client group that detects clients with 11.24 and below or V10 and prior clients so that you can see all of them in one place ~ I agree it’s not ideal.
