Hi All, Recently we upgrade the CommServe from 11.24 to 11.32 and our monitoring team have advised about one of the server is not running 

 

<CommSserve > Required service not running: Commvault Content Extractor (Instance001)

<MediaAgent> Required service not running: Commvault Content Extractor (Instance001)

When I am looked in Services of Windows or under CommVault process manager, I do not see any such services. 

Note :Upgrade went successful,  Backups/Admin jobs are running fine. 

I am just trying to verify or confirm before I say them not to monitor that servce.

We have removed this service from some configurations that do not require it during Feature Release upgrade. In previous versions of the software, we were installing this service on machines where it was not required.  This resulted in additional resources being consumed needlessly.

 

Since you have already confirmed that the services have been physically removed from the hosts, you can request that the Monitoring team no longer monitor for those particular services on those nodes any longer.
