Hi.

I have a lot of jobs to copy to tapes.

I´m doing it but it is taking too much time, because each copy is using one tape. There are copies with a lot of images, and I have 6 drives to use.

I want to use more than one drive at same time to copy this images.

Any idea?

Thanks.

Hey @Kayser !

Without looking, I’m thinking you are not combining streams on the tape copy.

by default, the streams per auxiliary copy will match the primary (via the storage policy properties). This will result in x tapes being allocated where x is the stream count.

You should set the combined amount to the number of tapes/drives you want to split the load to

Hi, Mike.

Thanks for your help..

I have found with some tests that to send the images to various tapes we have to enable the Combine streams with the number of drives and leave the Multiplex source streams in blank.

Now it is running OK.

Very thanks.
