Let’s say we created an Azure Storage Account with the default "Hot" access tier.
What happens if, for this specific Storage Account, we configure it as "Cool" from the Commvault side?
Does the Commvault selection ("Cool") override the Azure setting ("Hot")?
Please for your feedback.
Best regards, Nikos

Yes, Commvault should write with the cool tier. You can see on your storage account creation, you’re selecting the default if a tier is not specified during writes.
Storage accounts have a default access tier setting that indicates the online tier in which a new blob is created. The default access tier setting can be set to either hot, cool or cold. Users can override the default setting for an individual blob when uploading the blob or changing its tier.
