Hi,

I’m looking for a statement or write-up state that commvault CCID is unique for customer. Any Commvault customer backup data cannot be read by different CCID. Something like their data encrypted or tied by their CCID.

Thanks.

Hi @Asyraf , that’s a really good request!  I know it’s true, you know it’s true, but I can’t find it written anywhere :joy:

I’m going to talk to our documentation team and see if they have it documented anywhere (and I just can’t find it) and if not, have them make something for this.

I’ll be in touch!

I spoke to our docs team who don’t have anything specific (though I can create a doc MR for you).

Here’s what we have now:

library/drive sharing info: : https://documentation.commvault.com/11.25/expert/9889_library_and_drive_sharing_across_commcells_overview.html

and chunk info is here: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.25/expert/8588_increasing_chunk_size.html

Where would you like this information listed?  Let me know and I’ll create the doc MR on your behalf.

Hi @Mike Struening . You can put anywhere on the Commvault documentation, make others easy to find this info. Thanks @Mike Struening for your help, I'm really appreciate it.
