Hi @Nabin ,

Kindly refer below document and steps to enable worm storage.
https://documentation.commvault.com/2024/essential/configuring_worm_storage_lock.html

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Storage > Disk.

    The Disk page appears.

    The disk storage page appears.

  3. On the Configuration tab, in the WORM section, do the following:

    a. Move the WORM storage lock toggle key to the right.

Hello sir,

Can’t we enable WORM storage lock through our commcell environment rather than the command center.

Thank you.

Hi @Nabin

PFB steps to enable from Java console.
https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/expert/enabling_worm_storage_and_retention_for_cloud_storage.html

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Storage Resources > Storage Pools.

  2. Right-click the <Storage Policy>, and then click Properties > Storage Pool Copy.

The Storage Policy Copy Properties dialog box appears.

    • To enable WORM storage lock, select WORM Storage Lock.

There is a workflow you can download from commvault store that will do it for you. One thing to be aware of is that the workflow will seal the ddb.

@Nabin I would suggest not to use the Workflow and also avoid Java Console. Best is to stick to Command Center. Most of the fixes made to the feature are supported through Command Center only. Steps are provided in the thread above.
