Well……you can. BUT, what if there was corruption (as mentioned in that contextual note) in the blocks you’ll used for that Synth full? You may do a restore later on that fails.
If it was sealed for reasons not including corruption, sure. Should be fine.
However, if the store was sealed because of corruption, then do a manual full to be safe.
