It takes 24 hours from the completion time on move mount path operation to prune the data on the source path. If it has been more than 24 hours and data is still nor pruned then we will have to take a look at CVMA.log on the same client and copy the file “.obsolete” to the folder where it is missing and the data should be pruned.

Please confirm if you see .obsolete file on the path “J:\DnD_DLs\PMA02\BDL01\MP12 Temp\3F732M_04.20.2024_14.53”.

If it is not present then you can copy the fle and place it.

If the path is present already, mark MA for maintenance and restart MA service. Monitor CVMA.log for error’s.

Hi @SMD 

The .obsolete file is present in the mentioned path. I will restart the services for the media agent (marking media agent offline)  and then monitor the CVMA logs.

I can see the folders are being deleted now through the CVMA.logs.

Also, considering the size is approx 12 TB, how much time would it take to purge all the files from the mountpoint?

There is no estimate to know how long it will take as the data is chunked and stored. Deletion will happen file by file . This might take long time.
