I have Commvault backup server on simpana version 11.28.68. Also I have Tape library HPE MSL3040 with two Drives..
The backup is placed on the tape library. I have a problem two days ago with one tape which was stuck in one drive. I read instruction for Tape library where I immediately had to remove the tape from the Tape library that caused the problem.
That tape was in Assigned media. I didn't declare it full, nor did I move it to another scrath pool, I just took it out.
Now I have situation that in Assigned media there is display as if the tape exists. but there is label “Not available”. Now, I declared tape bed but still exists in Assigned Media.
How can I completely remove the tape from Assigned media?
