Dear Commvault experts!
Could you please explain the differences between backing up NDMP NetApp volumes/shares and backing up NetApp storage snapshots?
I ask because there are two different types of users involved:

An NDMP user responsible for managing the NDMP connection.

A separate user under array management responsible for snapshot creation.
Additionally, NDMP storage snapshot backups can function even when NDMP NetApp share backups fail. Could you clarify why that is?
