The error is a bit generic. We will have to investigate the logs to figure out what exactly is cauing this issue, therefore would request you to log an incident for this issue. Do share the affected job ID and the logs once/during the incident is created.

If it is switching from media agent 01 to Media agent 02, it is not a problem. It only means that both media agents have access to the library and system wil try to use both of them to read/write to the librray.

There were some environmental factors that needed to be addressed. There isn’t a single fix for this issue, I’d recommend opening a ticket if you are looking for a resolution.

That’s not the same error, but the same advice applies - you’ll be better off raising it with Support. 

What was the resolution for this case ?

We are also getting same error with oracle in-place restore

While performing backup, I faced the same error: 13:244, We use only One media agent, and all other backups are going well, Only for selectively 2-3 clients, the backups are going to pending state with the error [media write operation failed] [Dedup Cloud Media] [Operating system failed to get a valid handle for the device.]

If someone would be able to help me understand the possible causes of the reported error, it would be helpful.
