SQL Backup getting failed with errorEncountered a network error. Could not connect to the CVD on the target MediaAgent to launch the DDB engine.

 DDB is fine and same location , other backup is running.   Port 8400 and 8403 is opened and same server client we are able to run filsystem backup.

Hi ​@Rajeesh K,

 

From the logs provided its point to a communication issue on port 8403 to IP 172.18.3.27

 

Can you please run a ping and check the basic communication and if it works try running a telnet on port 8403.
