Storage allocations by server

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hello Team,

Is there a way to determine storage allocation per server on a primary disk copy?

I’ve tried to run reports, use Command Center and I can’t seem to find any options to include particular servers and then see how much space their backups are consuming on our primary disk copy.

Thanks!

Can use any one of these 3 reports :

(Preferred & available from SP32) Estimated Storage Utilization : https://cloud.commvault.com/webconsole/softwarestore/#!/135/664/26878

Client Storage Utilization by Storage Policy Copy: https://cloud.commvault.com/webconsole/softwarestore/#!/135/664/13144

I imagine the Chargeback Details report might help you.
Review the Media Size and Total Media Size report rows.

However, if you’re using deduplication, these are going to be “estimates”.  With deduplication any data shared between servers is only written to storage once.

Depending on what your use case, this may or may not help you.

Thanks,
Scott
