It appears that the issue you're encountering with the new tape library recognizing the old tapes as new with a different barcode format is due to a barcode reading configuration difference between the old and new libraries. The new library is reading an additional suffix ('L6') which is causing it to treat the old tapes as new scratch tapes. To resolve this, you should update the barcode on the old tapes to match the format that the new library is reading. Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Delete the tapes which are being detected as new scratch tapes in the new library.
2. Remove these tapes from the library.
3. Use the 'Update Barcode' function to add the 'L6' suffix to the barcodes of these tapes.
4. Reinsert the tapes into the new library.
