I have a windows client. The user would like to know if they can backup files with folder paths that are greater than 260 characters.

During my initial research, I found the sSupportLongPath setting. According to the documentation, the setting may only apply to Linux systems. Can someone help clarify this for me?

Also, how many characters does 1024 bytes equal to? Thanks in advance!

Does this setting apply to Windows File systems?
