I am asking for help in installing the agent from the console on CentOs servers:

Error Code: [68:175]
Description: Failed to install File System Core Package, could not determine processor/OS type of client.
Source: simpana, Process: DistributeSoftware

I installed locally.
Communication is
After port 22, I installed locally.
Check readiness works on the installed one.
Cvping passes.

Thanks for help!

I understand your concern that you want to install the agent using push install.

Here are the steps to install commvault using console : https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11_sp20/article?p=1977.htm

During push install we are not prompted for commserve hostname/IP as we using the console itself for doing the installation and installation takes whatever name is set for commserve on its own.

I will suggest doing local install and give commserve IP at below step:

Ensure the system is able to ping the commserve IP before you start the installation.

Sounds like a communications issue based on previous incidents.

Can you confirm everything in the requirements is open?
