Hi Team,

Customer has asked me about Azure Stack HCI backup recommended volume size. He sent me a link to MS docs

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure-stack/hci/concepts/plan-volumes

Customer is concerned about planning for volume sizes of VMs i.e. 2x10TB vs 1x20TB vm disk.

So the question that remains is: does Commvault use Hyper-V RCT API and/or ReFS block cloning?

Can I advice customer to go over 10TB vm disk without hurting performance?

@Robert Horowski , I heard back from dev directly.  Azure Stack HCI will use the Resilent Change Tracking API, the customer can use greater than 10 TB.
