ibm i backup is going into pending at scan phase

Issue fixed after stopping firewall on proxy.

proxy/access node and MA both are same.

we could successfully add ibmi client into client computers.

port 9401 is opened… initial auto installation on IBMi client is successfully completed by first backup trigger. But the backup is not clearing scan phase. Its throwing generic error saying please check the logs. Source is our MA

Hello Arvind,

Its difficult to give you an exact answer around this issue with only the above logs. These looks to be a connection issue so setting up a one-way firewall between the two servers could help in this case but i would recommend raising a case to support to perform a full level of troubleshooting.
