Hello

I have CS in 11.30.23 and MA in 11.30.52 (they both physical servers - windows 2012R2)

and I want to upgrade to 11.32 version

and the SQL you can see in the image that I attach below:

Can I do the upgrade directly ?
or maybe I need to upgrade the windows from 2012R2 to windows 2016?

Thank you very much :)

No, you are running SQL 2016 which is compatabile with FR32 so you won’t be prompted. We have a workflow you can run to upgrade the Commserve SQL Engine.

Windows 2012 is no longer supported in 11.32 as the OS for Commserve.

Even if it was… there is no reason for leaving the most important part of the cell on unsupported OS. OS update is more than recommended here.

Hello @Jacek Piechucki  , thank you

I know - so I need to upgrade to windows 2016 and then upgrade the CS to 11.32 ?

Thanks !

I would say yes - plan either the OS upgrade or hardware refresh. Sometimes the second option is less time consuming and you have 3 in 1: OS, SQL and CV updated.

OK , but if I will upgrade the OS and after that I will upgrade the CS, the SQL will update  automatically in the CS upgrade ?
