Created Metallic Recovery Reserve. How do I connect VM to Metallic Recovery Reserve? What are the steps?

Working on Commvault version 11.32.73. Storage policy for all media agent have primary, secondary (Aux to tape)and Monthly(Aux to tape with extended retention). Need to copy only the primary disk copy to Commault cloud. We need to have the data in primary go to different group, Fedramp and Commercial. Where is this Category created so that data from subclient (VM Group) can be split into 2 categories Fedramp and Commercial. On commvault console vcenter host has subclients which maps to all VM’s. Not all VM’s will go the same VM group.

Is this the step we need to follow: Is this where Commercial/Fedramp is designed? Not all storage is listed here:

If you want to only use AGP/MRR as a secondary target, you can create a storage copy in the plan and choose the AGP/MRR library for that (video here)

Hi @Chitra Saha,

You should now have a Airgap protect (new name) cloud library created and ready to use. The next step is to create a plan (video here), and then select the AGP/Metallic Recovery Reserve library as the storage target in step 3. Next, create a VM group with the virtual machines(s) you want to protect to AGP and select that as the target (step 5).

If you want to only use AGP/MRR as a secondary target, you can create a storage copy in the plan and choose the AGP/MRR library for that (video here)
