I encounter a problem when backing up a few VMs in my Vmware Vsphere 7 environnment :

Cannot read disk [[Datastore2-Compellent] xxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxx-000002.vmdk] for virtual machine [SRV-xxxxxxxxx] on the host [esxi03.xxxxx.xx].

[One or more errors occurred while processing the request. (ERROR_ERRORS_ENCOUNTERED.774), ReadCurrVmdkFile (W32.774) Failed]

I red on some forums that a Storage Vmotion could resolve the issue on vmdk files, but my management do not want go through this path because this VM is in our production environment. Is there any other solutions ?

HI @VM backup Issue ,

Can you check VSBKP.log and VIXDISKLIB.log on the VSA Proxy please?

Can you review this link and check the configuration::

We did not configure it so it seems to be a Auto mode.

Regarding to logs, SAN transport mode seems to be used.
