We have some strange issues with vmware backup for one of our customer, from what i can understand it looks like commvault has told vmware to take 2 snapshots of the same vm with 30mins between them. we have then had issues with too many cvlt snapshots on the same servers and my initial guessing is that it’s due to what we see from the vmware side that the cvlt serviceaccount has taken 2 snapthots and only removed one after backup is ok.

Has anyone here had the same issues before and fixed it?
