If we use the additional setting bEnableAWSOptimizedBackupVolume=0, are there any restrictions regarding using CBT with AWS?

    Good morning.  I have checked with some of my resources on the Client focus team and they have informed me that this setting will only affect performance, not CBT.  By affecting performance I mean that the read performance can be slower if we cannot create an optimized volume snapshot.

    Another question regarding AWS snapshots.  Is it possible to force the AWS storage type used by the snapshot?

    We have some instances using expense disk and would like to create the snapshot on slower and lower cost storage.
