backup of Hyper-V VM have mounted SAN LUN and restore to specific checkpoint

We have multiple Hyper-V VM having SAN LUN mounted, the Microsoft itself not provide the feature to take snapshot of VM if SAN LUN mounted on it.

Please share the way to take backup and restore of that VM on commvault.

Hello ​@sanjay kanire you install an agent on the VM and can take a file system backup of the same.

Hello ​@Rajiv  yes getting the file system backup, but in case application related changes done and system need to restore on back state than it will not support.
