We want to migrate VMs from Vmware to Hyper-V using Commvault. The Hyper-V will be a cluster with SAN storage to store the Cluster files. The Hyper-V cluster will be hardened with Windows Firewall rules. What are the ports to be allowed for allowing Restore of VM from VMware to Hyper-V and Backups of Hyper-V VMs on Proxy.

As long as we can talk to your proxy with these there should not be any network issues that i can see you hitting. Just treat it like a brand new Hyper-v client:

Hyper-V relies heavily on WMI - but that should be local communication with the installed agent and the WMI destination. I do not believe we traverse the network to perform WMI queries if you have a Virtual server agent installed on all nodes.

So, the ports needed to open for Hyper-V standalone or cluster nodes are 443, 902, 8400, 8403? Another question is after the restore of VMs from VMware to Hyper-V. Does the First backup coverts to Full by again copying entire size of each VM after deduplication to Local storage or Cloud storage.
