Redhat 8.* file level recovery

Hi,

Can HSX nodes running with RedHat 7.9 can be used as FREL for Linux VM’s running RedHat8.* ?

I know it is not working for us on version 11.28.24. Is it supported on higher versions ?

    In order to browse File Level for RHEL/CentOS 8, the FREL will also need to be running RHEL/CentOS 8. This is due to changes in the filesystem.

    Is it relevant only for XFS ? 

    Looks like the FREL (RedHat 7.9)  can brwose EXT4 of RedHat 8.3 VM
