Hello!

I am trying to figure out how to setup backup copy job to run right after SNAP backups job finishes.

Does anyone has a clue?

Default setting were to run every 4 hours but i have changed it to run once per 24h. Now it obviously CANT be changed back and its scheduled to run at specific time 08am.

We use CommandCenter and can use also CommCell Console.

In the commcell console - On the backup schedule there is an option to “Run backup copy immediately” This will trigger a backup copy as soon the snap job completes. Also keep in mind that it will run a backup copy per-subclient/group/collection so it can get messy if you have multiple jobs trying to backup copy the same volume etc. Really depends on how you have things configured - in general this option can cause a bit of a mess if you are not careful.

You should always 100% leave a manual schedule in place to catch any backup copies that get missed,  error out or run over time - otherwise your future snap jobs will never backup copy (they have to be done in order, if one is missed the subsequent backup copies using the “run backup copy immediately” option will fail).
