Hi,

I am trying to restore some files via live browse for VM in command center and I receive the following error:

When I go to JAVA GUI it automatically selects the FRE but it fails with:

So if I manually change to other FRE - it works:

How else I can select the FRE for that VM, so it would not show that ‘FREL name is empty: File Recovery Enabler for Linux hasn't been set for this client. (CV.0x8).’

Hi,

Set FREL(Linux access node) at hypervisor level from command center or in instance properties from Java UI, that has communication to all involved VSA access nodes, MAs and use that as default instead of trying to overwrite with other in browse time. In your case, select that working machine as FREL, set it as default and use in live file browse.
