Hi Team,

I'm encountering the following error when attempting to browse Guest Files and Folders:

Internal Error [150994988] in CVSession while communicating with remote host [Remote system []. Communications Service returned error when executing remote library [sLNLIVEBROWSE] function [sLPLIVEBROWSE].].  []

I've verified that the FREL server appears to be healthy and there are no apparent issues on that end.

Could you please advise on what might be causing this error and any checks or steps I should take to troubleshoot further?

Hi Naraharsha,

The first recommendation is checking what type of library is being used during the browse. Errors like this can often pop up when trying to browse a tape library with Live Browse.

It can also help to check the file system being restored is supported on the FREL, if the FREL doesn’t recognize the file system then live browse will fail.

Do other VMs browse ok using this FREL? If no linux VMs can browse guest files you may need to look at the block level driver and its current state.

Beyond that I would review FBR.log and browse.log on the FREL for further indicators as to the cause.
