VM with SQL backup

When backing up VM (on VMWare) with SQL, event log is filled with error:

The device, \Device\Harddisk4\ ……. is not ready for access yet.

At this moment only IntelliSnap is enabled and under Backup Options, File system and application consistent backup selected.

Any suggestions?

Hi @TSunsLV ,

Since you are performing a Quiesced backup (File system and application consistent), You may encounter Event ID 15 inside the VM.

Unless you’re having issues with the Guest VM, I believe this error can be ignored.
